This waxed canvas jacket arrived today, and I knew immediately it was exactly what I had hoped for. I had searched extensively for a stylish jacket, and this was it. The waxed canvas has a nice weight to it; it feels substantial without making you hot while wearing it. The stitchwork is perfect, better than what I see in the commercial outdoor gear I buy, and the metal buttons are high quality. I bought the jacket in black, requested no exterior pockets, and sent my simple sleeve length measurement, and it fits great and looks great. I'm even more excited for how this will look and feel years down the road, when I fully expect the quality to endure but the canvas to soften and develop a beautiful patina. This is going to be my jacket of choice for 3 seasons (I still need a warm puffy coat during the winter) for many years to come. Finally, Aysen was very responsive to all my messages. I'll look forward to buying other items from 99percenthandmade in the future.

I wanted a quality heavy-duty anorak without paying the astronomical amounts for a Scandinavian-made one. This has exceeded all expectations. I work next to a yarn/wool store and I brought it there to see what they thought. I had 4 old ladies that were checking it out and all were stunned by the quality. One said I better put it in my will because it's that nice (and probably will outlive me). Great communication from the team at 99 as well.
